Concordia Arts preschool is a music and movement preschool for ages 29 months (by September 1) to 5 years of age during the school year and an Arts camp for ages 29 months (by September 1) to 10 years of age in the summer. Our program provides Quality Kindermusik and Orff music programming, process based art that is child led and Reggio Emilia inspired, Learning without tears preschool to school age programming for readiness skills, sensory social skills, outdoor programming, and plenty of opportunities to play. We honor all abilities and support social skills development to prepare children for school experiences. Our program is directed by a licensed Early Childhood Teacher with a background in Special education and music education (25 years for public schools and 6 years running her own program.. All support staff has extensive training required by the department of Education and Human services. Our lead teacher has a degree in Early Childhood as well. We honor child development and support each child to learn and grow at their own level. We operate our program under a Family Child Care license as we meet in a church. We can have up to 14 children enrolled in each session which allows us to operate small groups and a smaller setting to meet the individual needs of all of our children enrolled. Classes are currently full for summer of 2019 and fall/spring of 2019/2020 school year. We have a waiting list for summer of 2020 and fall of 2020/2021 that your child could be placed on if you are interested in preschool or summer programming.
